Maria was planning her wedding in Mission BC and was in search of an Mission wedding photographer. She confirmed the booking that very night!
When I initially arranged this Mission wedding, it was late at night while watching a movie online! I secured this wedding through email correspondence with Maria all the way from England. It was fortunate that I was still awake at 3:30 am and engaged in a back-and-forth conversation for a while.
We had our first Zoom meeting at the beginning of the year, which marked a new business experience for me. I was thrilled to finally meet the couple face to face. Although we couldn't schedule engagement photos before their wedding, I extended an additional hour during their wedding day!
During their wedding in March 2022, it was my premiere visit to Steelhead Community Hall in Mission. I adored the Mexican-themed and multicolored decor inside the hall, reminiscent of the ambiance in the Disney movie Encanto!
Although it rained during the ceremony, it cleared up for family photos and formal portraits, which was a relief! While capturing formal pictures, we managed to find a nearby carnival and took some fun shots of the newlyweds!
Many thanks to the couple for inviting me; I had an amazing time and thoroughly enjoyed the Mexican cuisine, especially since I have Mexican heritage too!
