One thing I love about doing weddings is getting to know family members and hopefully taking photos for them in the future.

A couple of months ago, one of my brides from last year messaged me that she needed a gift certificate for her husband's grandma's birthday party. Over the weekend, that grandma used the gift certificate for a family extended session. We had it at the Atchelitz Threshermen's Association Pioneer Village in Chilliwack.

The Van Den Dorpel family had a memorial tree there for Casey. He was a husband, dad, grandpa, and cousin. He spent a lot of his time there with everyone. We took a lot of photos in front of the garage space he had and around the property. We had a bit of fun and the family went through memories of Casey.

Happy early first anniversary to you Ashley and Matt. I LOVED seeing everyone again and thank you for having me be a part of your Chilliwack extended family session.
