I grew up has an only child in my family and always wanted a brother or sister. My mother couldn't have anymore children due to the risk of her heart.
Once I grew up and meet my husband I knew I wanted a big family and to have more than just one child.
My first pregnancy I had a really had time with high blood pressure, swallow feet and body due to preeclampsia. It was a very scary time being monitored a lot and having to stay in the hospital at 35 weeks. After Riley was born at 37 weeks decided to not have a baby for a while.
Then my second was my daughter so blessed to have one of each at this point. I decided to wait little longer for another due to having to work a lot and with my son having ADHD was definitely a learning experience to being a mother and having lot of patience.
After my husband and I found out what baby number 3 was. He went to the store to get cupcakes and get icing to fill the middle of the cupcake. We were going to let the kids eat the cupcake to tell them if it was a baby brother or sister. They didn't have the icing we needed so hubby bought cookie icing instead. It was a lot of fun to involve the kids...

It's a girl!!
My daughter Ava is pretty excited but my son Riley didn't take it too well, he is never good with change right away. After he learned he gets his own room he was okay with it. We are all very excited and feel very blessed. More so from me because I lost both my aunties around the same time I convinced baby #3. It being a girl is even more meaning full to me and our family.
